Generally, refractive lens exchange is a low-risk surgical procedure performed in a day, but bear in mind that you had surgery and have to be careful with anything you do afterwards while you recover.
You may be able to perform light exercises after about three days but wait for about 2 weeks before engaging in your routine workout. You may not be able to go swimming for about two weeks after your surgery, and you also need to make use of goggles until after four weeks if you go swimming.
As soon as your vision is clear, you can start driving, and for a good number of people, this usually is just a few days. You would have to wait for about a week before you can apply makeup, especially eye makeup.
After about a month, you may be able to carry out all your regular activities, including driving. You may resume work a week after your surgery.
